Power Supply

Hi all - i am sure there is an answer to this out there - have searched but nothing that answers it direct. i have a Ring Video Doorbell - it is installed with an adapter purchased from Amazon - LANMU Video doorbell power suppl - LANMU Power Adapter for Ring Video Doorbell. The mains is all working, I have attached it to the two rings inside and the device is still showing battery only. It was firmware updated immediately. any suggestions - as I say it has power - the power is there at the end but the device isnt picking it up... thoughts.. mark
