Opening gate with Ring doorbell 2 or video doorbell pro
Hi, I have an intercom that uses [electric strike ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_strike) to open an external gate. How can I connect a "Ring Doorbell 2" or a "Doorbell Pro" to open the gate through the ring app? ps: Electric Stike normally works by sending 12v into the lock to open it.

In regards to your intercom, you may check our [Chime Kit Compatibility](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003008663-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List) list to see if any are compatible with your Doorbell 2. In many cases an intercom will not be compatible for a variety of reasons, such as the type of power or wiring used to operate most intercom systems.
