Old lady needs help, please
I have a Ring Doorbell 2nd generation wired into my home; installed in April 2024 (home has a back-up generator so battery is seldom used). I recently got a new Pixel 9 Pro phone (which may be the problem)--since I got it and installed the Ring App on the phone I have two problems:1. I get no sound notifications when someone is at the door (although the doorbell on the wall rings if they ring the doorbell, but not on my phone or watch). I do get a vibration and soft sound on my watch.2. Instead of the whole video showing, I'm shown a 3-5 second repeat (think of someone bending over and placing a package on the floor over and over and over...).Can anyone give me some simple advice, please? I've contacted Google about the sound and they've been NO help, although they're now "considering" replacing the phone. I keep thinking it's something simple that I'm just not doing (I'm 77, so I don't always process things quickly). At any rate, I would appreciate some help.

If you have notifications on (and it sounds like you do), you will see a brief video of what prompted the notification - it repeats. This is just to give you an idea of what set off the alert/notification. That's normal behavior with a recent update of the software. If you want to see the whole video, you need to go into the Ring app on your phone/watch and choose the event to view. Also, you can view your dashboard and view videos on Ring.com from a computer/laptop if you wish. I sometimes find this easier. It sounds to me like your phone/watch may be set to vibration, instead of audible sound. You may need to check into your phone/watch settings to change that. Look at your user guides to see how to do this.Hope this helps.
