Not getting notifications - Ring #2

Issue with 2 different devices. IPad and android phone. have read the mini manual and pg 24.ipadrunning ios 13:i do see notificaion on lock screen, but not on the app itself. My Arlo camera App shows a red circle with how ever number of motions detected. But not the Ring. Is there a secret setting I missed.Samsung s10 running android 9:in the notification tray I do not see a Ring icon showing up when a motion or doorbell activated. And with my Arlo i do. Is there a secret setting I'm missing on the phone?thx.
