Mode changes by third party controller

I currently don't have a Ring Alarm and have no plans to install one. I would like to schedule changes in Ring Doorbell modes with my Samsung SmartThings controller. Changing modes is not currently supported as an available action for the Ring Doorbell even though I have added as a device to my SmartThings Controller. I would like to schedule setting the modes at certain times/days or whenever my Kwikset Smart door lock is unlocked. Is there an API available for the Ring Doorbells that Samsung or IFTTT could access for changing modes?
