Is my existing chime compatible with the new hard wired product
hardwired-video-doorbell

Hello does anyone know if my existing chime will required a transformer or whether the bypass will suffice? Thanks in advance ![image|375x500](upload://vOJ46a4uRqw3Qc3cB5M8EuyaMI6.jpeg)

Hi @Shummy. This appears to be a 6V and 6VA chime. Does your transformer have the same voltage rating? If so, this will not be powerful enough to support the doorbell. I recommend a 16-24V, 30 VA transformer, which can be found [here](https://ring.com/collections/accessories/products/hardwired-transformer?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=12085649683&utm_term=ring%20doorbell%20wired&utm_content=116897209112&gclid=Cj0KCQjwna2FBhDPARIsACAEc_WI8FyzlseXcjPWb2lEP_YUvwdaFZbZmvm7ilSMQMlmMRnU3VGgStsaApfxEALw_wcB&gclid=Cj0KCQjwna2FBhDPARIsACAEc_WI8FyzlseXcjPWb2lEP_YUvwdaFZbZmvm7ilSMQMlmMRnU3VGgStsaApfxEALw_wcB). You can also find a list of compatible Chime Kits [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/209028546-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List). I hope this helps.
