Hi @Bob8. The Doorbell will always send you notifications, day and night. If you don't want to receive them during a specific time, you can setup a [Motion Schedule](https://community.ring.com/t/how-it-works-ring-app-motion-schedules/756). This will set the parameters for when alerts come to you. I hope this information helps.
