Got ring for Christmas XXXX, worked perfectly UNTIL the day after free trial ended getting false motion detection alerts about 12 a day. Stood outside to see why , nothing noticeable seen to set it off. I believe this is a ploy to invite paid subscribers, not a coincidence this just started happening.XXXX-28T05:00:00Z*

Hi @user75491. lalalala: that is why you need to have plan to activate smart alerts, smart alerts allow you to chose what alerts would you like to have like lets say just for person only This information is correct. You can learn about Protect Plan specific features here.
