How do I intall the jumper cable on a soldered conection?

 The black and red cable attached to the old chime have the conections soldered in, so i can not instal the jumper cable underneath it. Would install the jumper on top (like a bridge) of it work? Thank you!

Hi @Claurolla. When installing the Video Doorbell Wired, the jumper cable is required for proper operation. The jumper cable should be installed on the "Front" and "Trans" terminals on your chime kit, as outlined in [this wiring diagram](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405783047188-Wiring-Diagrams-for-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Wired-). If you're unable to do this due to the wires being soldered, I'd recommend consulting a qualified electrician for guidance.
