help with installation
hello everyone,i live in an apt building where the setup seems to be a bit diferent. my doorbell is attached to a panel inside my apt to turn off and control volume. this panel also has access to security camera in the lobby and elevator. not sure if this affects the instalation... When i took apart my old doorbell it has 4 cables, two twisted together going to one terminal and the other two same way. looks like the old telephone wire wires. I am tempted to just install attch thise as they are to the ring 2 doorbell. anyone that has a similar experience? any feedback is apreciatedthank you

Hi @bfarhat. When wiring your Doorbell 2 to an existing doorbell circuit, you'll need to make sure that the internal chime kit is compatible or it may not work properly. You can find a list of compatible digital and mechanical chime kits [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003008663-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List). It's also important to note that the Video Doorbell 2 is compatible with AC-powered door chimes operating between 8-24 volt AC transformers, but is not compatible with wireless door chimes or any chime/intercom system using a DC transformer. I hope that helps! :)
