Doorbell fails to pick up people walking up, record video

Hello, recently my doorbell has struggled to notice when people are walking up and then, when it finally does, actually record video. I'm often getting a frozen image, one that glitches, and then seconds later the person is gone altogether. It's also recorded simply still frames that end after a couple seconds. It's a wireless Ring, by the way.
