Brought a new ring doorbell and transformer burn up

I brought a new ring pro and the new 16v-30ve transformer from home depot and it worked for about a hr and both burned up and stop working Took them back and got 2 new ones again and it did it again We had adt for years without a problem and now we yave burned up 2 rings and transformer
