My battery ring doorbell 2nd gen will be installed at the bottom of a slight slope - about 1 or maybe 2 foot lower than the road which is about 12 feet away and not busy. Should I install the doorbell a little higher than the 48 inches recommended?

Hi @user26095. I would recommend installing the Doorbell at the recommended height, but with a Wedge Kit. You can find a Wedge Kit [here](https://ring.com/collections/accessories?filters=category:video-doorbell-wired,category:video-doorbell-pro,category:video-doorbell-pro-2,category:video-doorbell-elite,category:video-doorbell,category:video-doorbell-2,category:video-doorbell-3,category:video-doorbell-3-plus,category:video-doorbell-4,category:peephole-cam,type:installation-mounts). This will angle your Doorbell to more accurately detect motion.

Hi thanks for the reply. Looking at the installation guide with the zones marked I decided the gradient was within the suggested height so I have kept it at that
