Ring Video Doorbell
After power outage, all ring cameras refuse to reconnect to WiFi.
literally ANY OTHER WIRELESS DEVICE I have, if there’s a power outage, simply reconnects to the wireless network once power is restored and the wireless network is back online. But not my Ring doorbell or Ring cameras. THEY NEVER RECONNECT ON RHEIR OWN. Every. Single. Time. I have to go through the steps, while connected to the same wireless network as the camera should be, to change the wireless network, and connect to the same network as before. This is beyond frustrating. Is there anyone else seeing this? Does Ring have any concept of a firmware update for this?

Hi @user_1d9a20. Your Doorbell and Cameras should automatically reconnect; if not, try factory resetting one of them to see if it helps, and then if it does help, you can do the rest of them. To reset it, press and hold the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds, then reconnect it to your Wi-Fi. You also want to make sure your Ring devices have good signal strength. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance
