Wired Stick Up Cam Low Battery Notifications

A few days ago, I moved a wired stick up camera from my patio to my backyard, attaching to my gutter with a mount. Soon after, I got an email notification saying the battery was low and this morning the app said live view was disabled because of a low battery. I'm still using the same power adapter and as far as I know, the electrical outlet outside works. I called and the agent insisted there was an internal battery but I cannot find one. It did not come with a battery nor did I buy one separately. I never got low battery notifications until I moved it. The app doesn't show any battery status on the camera other the warning about live view being disabled because of the alleged non-existent low battery. The camera is under warranty and I'm getting sent another one, but I'm wondering if this a widespread issue?

Hi @Danny8890. The current generation of the Stick Up Cams can utilize different power sources, including wired or battery. This likely contributed to some confusion or miscommunication when you contacted support, so I apologize for that. Try [rebooting](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-How-to-Reboot-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-from-the-Ring-App-) your Stick up Cam from the Ring app by following the steps below: - Tap Devices - Tap your Stick Up Cam - Tap Device Health - Under the Tools header, tap Reboot This Device A reboot can fix errors, such as the message you're receiving. Allow a few minutes for the reboot process to complete. If that doesn't resolve this concern and your Stick Up Cam Plug-In is still reporting a low battery, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
