Wired floodlight cam lens is blurry. do not want to buy Ring cam again over and over if no resolution

troubleshooting

I've searched the community message board posts and this seems to be a fairly common issue, yet there is no replacement lens available. I bought my security camera in 2017 so it is beyond warranty coverage. i do not want to spend another $200 (+) on something that very well may happen again with no manufacturer solution or prevention option available (any lens /screen cover available to prevent? will lens only replacement be an option at some point?). i just cannot afford to replace whole cameras every 4 to 5 years (or sooner. some of the posts i've read are people who have had their security cameras for much shorter time). What options is Ring going to make available for their customers when this happens to keep their customers from potentially leaving and going to a competitor? Thanks in advance for reply. I'm sure many others here would like to know what options are available or that will become available so that we can make informed decisions re how to address the issue.

Hi my flood pro camera doesn’t work at all and I was wondering if the insurance I pay for this camera you can send me a new one? The lens is black it looks like it’s burnt.

Update: returned here to search posts for potential remedies & found one! On another post re blurry wired floodlight cam I found a post where another customer tried Pam cooking spray AND IT WORKS!! I thought to myself ‘ if Pam worked for her maybe WD40 will work’ NOPE. But when I tried the Pam cooking spray right after it was a 98% improvement. Judge for yourselves. Posting before & after pics. SO GRATEFUL! Message board will only let me post one pic at a time, so here is before & next post will be after ![image|617x500](upload://u5hJGsvj4CfuIYQZEuuNTZ1hgcz.jpeg)

Hi @Eliminator. If you provide us with a few details, including what Ring device you have and what concern you're experiencing, a member of the Community team or another neighbor can chime in with some general troubleshooting tips or tricks. :)
