Will a Solar Panel Help

How much light does a stick up camera solar panel really need to do any good? Reason, I have a stick up camera on the north side of the house, the sun will not shine on it until summer, I want to attach solar panel. Will the solar panel do any good at all? With out direct sun (it will have bright sky). If it helps some I would try it

Hi @playpar. The way that the Solar Panel works is that with sufficient sunlight, it will provide a trickle charge to your Cam that helps keep it topped off between charges. In order for the Solar Panel to provide a trickle charge to your Stick Up Cam, it will need to get around 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Without direct sunlight, the Solar Panel will not be able to provide any level of charge to your Stick Up Cam. I hope that helps answer your questions! :)
