transfer ring camera to new homeowner
My daughter recently purchased a house. She does not have a ring account but I do. Approx a week ago I put in a request to transfer the doorbell and wired cam to my account since it was the most expeditious way to get the transfer going. Still waiting for the previous owner to authorize the transfer but I understand after 15 days it happens anyway. Thinking about it, maybe that wasnt the best idea because I want her to be able to manage her cameras and I dont want to see all her notifications. Can I shut off her notifications on my end but she still get notifications as a shared user and not get my notifications? Right now there are 2 users on my account, me and wife. Are there limits to how many can share? Can my daughter and her husband manage the camera settings on their own as shared users or will I have to do that? Lastly, I guess if all else fails, she can request a transfer from me as the new owner and I can instantly approve the transfer. Is that possible or will there be some glitch so soon after? Kind of frustrating that you have to jump through hoops to get these transfers. Thanks

Hi @user_3000e1. Each phone could individually manage the notifications for the Ring devices, but Shared Users cannot make any adjustments to device settings. Once you have the Ring device on your account, it might be best for you to just remove the device from your account and set it up on your daughter's account, which would give them owner access to it. Then they can add you as a Shared User.
