Stick up Cam battery charging indication

My stick up cam sits outside and works perfectly. However the app indicates that the battery is connected to a solar panel and is constantly 36% charged. Thee is no solar panel and it would be nice if it could revert to its normal charge status so I know wh en it is running low. Can you help? Jeremy Noble
