Spotlight randomly turns on without motion detected.
I have a battery-powered spotlight camera. Recently, the spotlight turns on every minute or even sooner without any motion detected. It drains the batteries even though it has two batteries and is connected to a solar charger. So I have to disable the spotlight feature for the time being. The device has been rebooted and reset. I've also cleaned the camera and sensor to ensure they're free of debris. Need help!!

The camera is NOT in a shaded area nor in direct sunlight, and it only turns on when it gets dark. Yes, I do have Snapshot Capture enabled. Everything was working fine until several months ago. Please advise.

@user_955fd0 It could be the Snapshot Capture. Try turning Snapshot Capture off completely to see if the light stops turning on repeatedly at night. If the problem still persists, please follow up with our social support team @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram to take a closer look.

Hi @user_955fd0. Rebooting and resetting the Spotlight Cam were good troubleshooting steps to take. The light should only come on when motion is detected at night, if you have the Motion-Activated Lights setting toggled on. Is this camera in a shaded or covered area, or is it in direct sunlight? Do you have the Snapshot Capture feature enabled?
