Spotlight Cam-Solar not Detecting People

I have the Ring Spotlight Cam Solar, and it is not picking up people in my courtyard of my home. The batteries (have two installed) are fully charged. I have the mode settings Home & Away set to " Motion detection enabled and Live view enabled. My motion sensitivity is set to a drop below maximum. Smart alerts are on for people. Advanced motion detection is on. My motion zones encompass the entire area without a problem. What is going on ?? Thanks
