Spotlight cam with USB-C not working, no power, but both still work separately

Issue: USB C power connection to outdoor ring spotlight cam has failed.Spotlight cam with USB C power supply worked for about two months outdoors. Suddenly stopped working, camera is not getting power from the USB C connection.Camera works just fine when plugged into another USB C power source.Ring USB C power cable works fine when another device is connected to it.I’ve read many posts with this same issue.My ring power cable is run through areas that are difficult to access and an exterior wall.I’ve also had two older ring spotlight cams with the barrel connection that have never had an issue.I love these cameras but this new USB C connection seems to be vulnerable and not a smart choice to power an exterior device. Please help.
