Ring notification alerts stuck on default
Creating a new thread for this issue as previous one closed. I have 2 ring cameras and a ring doorbell that I want to recieve alerts with different messages. No matter what I do I get the same windchime alert. Have tried the suggestions already posted, ie restarted iphone, set to windchime then changed it but these 2 suggestions don’t work. Version is XXXX which should be the latest

Read other topics such as Missing Important Motion Settings won’t set to Frequentt. We need more “neighbors” to contact Ring and fix this issue immediately! Thank you

Hi I’ve the same problem with my iOS Ring App using an Indoor Cam and two Stick Up Cams. But after getting mad trying options and configurations, I’ve noticed that it only happens if Priority Alerts is enabled. If you turn off the Priority Alerts in the configuration of your Ring Cam Device, it’ll use the sound you have chosen in the notifications sound configuration. Do you have the same behaviour? I have iPhone 13 with iOS XXXX and Ring App XXXX

Hi Neighbors. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try: First- Change the tone you have selected to the default tone for your device. Second- Force close your Ring and and reboot your phone.
