Ring Floodlight no Barcode
I've looked through all the similar questions, so I have low expectations for any real help here. I need to re set up my Floodlight I bought directly from Ring a couple of years ago. There is no barcode or 5-digit pin on the light. Did anyone find a real way to actually set up the light without a barcode? I have the mac address. Don't tell me to contact customer service as that seems useless. If I have to buy a new camera I will be going with a different brand as this is ridiculous and the help section seems to be useless.

Hi @DJDalamar. It looks like this is the original Floodlight Cam based on your picture because the new Floodlight Cams have the QR code printed on the same label as your DSN and MAC. Since it is the original Floodlight Cam, you do not need to scan a QR code or enter a 5-digit PIN code to complete its setup, which I have verified by using my own Ring app. To do so, follow these steps: - Open the Ring app. - Choose the menu button (three lines in the upper left corner). - Select Set up a Device and pick Security Cams - Choose "I'm Ready To Scan." - Tap on "Other Options" - Select "Can't scan the QR code?" - Tap on "Enter Code Manually" - Select "Floodlight Cam" and then it will let you continue with your setup without needing to scan a QR code or barcode. I'm not near my camera right now but I tried that as far as I can in the app. I could have sworn that wasn't an option before just the 5-digit code. Thank you that was very helpful.
