Ring Floodlight camera

Hi my original hardwired floodlight camera was connected and working. I’ve changed internet provider and am trying to connect my devices. The camera keeps saying I have input the incorrect password. All my other ring devices have connected without problem. Is this floodlight now too old? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi @user_c4781d. The Floodlight Cam is only compatible with 2.4GHz networks. If your new network only offers 5GHz, the Floodlight Cam would not be able to connect. I'd also recommend checking that the ports and protocols used by Ring devices are open on your network. Lastly, you can try completing a fresh setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. This will ensure you're able to enter the correct wifi network name and password during the setup.
