Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Microphone issues
hardwired-security-cameras
Just got a new Ring Floodlight Cam Wired, we’ve had ring doorbell for several years now no complaints with it but the videos for the new Floodlight Cam sounds like the microphone is busted. I have tried to reconnect several times, hard reset, turn it off and on again, and even connecting a different wifi router but it still sounds broken. I’m still within the return window but wanted to make sure there wasn’t a easy trick I could do to get it to work right. I think it’s only the microphone because everything else works fine.

Sorry to hear about this, @Scott6g! Good call trying a different wifi network, in which I'd assume the signal strength or proximity to the routers was optimal. This can be confirmed by the RSSI in your Ring app device health section. I recommend performing a power cycle on the Camera, by flipping the switch or breaker that controls the power off for a moment, then back on. If this concern persists, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times.
