RING connection worked for 2 years then quit.

Does anyone have Ring Camera Device issues with Century Link. Our cameras worked for 2 years with our current router/modem, but stopped connecting to WIFI the last few months. We have the C4000BG CenturyLink compatible router and it has continually worked with all our other items except Ring. Replaced batteries, ordered a new Ring camera, didn't resolve issue. Ring said...wasn't compatable with 5G so we disabled 5, no change... then ordered Chime and connected through Chime which uses both 2.4 & 5 . Connects to Chime, to cameras but not to WIFI. Ordered a new C4000BG since Century Link thought it may have been struck by lighting, so new Router...still doesn't work. Bought 3 Google Point didn't help connection. I have been working between the 2 companies for 3 months. Tried changing channels, reducing security, adding guest network in Modem admin, nothing worked. Ring said today to purchase C3000Z and disable PMF. Mentioned 802.11w... C3000Z is older and slower than the C4000BG. After researching, with the C4000BG if you choose WPA2Personal the PMF is disabled. Is there a NetGear router ADSL or VDSL that is compatible with my Ring Cameras.  Any help would be appreciated! Has anyone experienced similar issues?

I am having this same issue and am super frustrated. We had to upgrade our brightspeed/centurylink modem and it is dual-band, and our cameras don't work and our front doorbell camera works sometimes. When I try to re-connect it gets to 95% internet connection and stops.

This is the exact same problem I am having!!!! We have a wired floodlight camera and 4 years in it decides to randomly disconnect from our Centurylink/Brightspeed internet wifi constantly. No other devices have this problem in our home. I’ve reset multiple times. I even ordered a new floodlight camera thinking that one was just old….. same thing. Disconnects and light doesn’t stay on at night even though I have it set to be on all night. My router is right inside the corner of the house closest to the garage where the floodlight is installed so it’s very close. I’m beyond frustrated and don’t know what to do.
