Red lights

When it got dark today my floodlight camera live view went from colour to black and white with a purple surround but when the floodlights come on everything is back to colour. Looking at the camera in the dark there is a red light showing near the top above the lens not the set up light at the bottom. Contacted ring the usual suggestions a reset jump up and down look at video etc,this is my second floodlight exactly the same problem as the first only three weeks old all fine until today also snapshot has never worked Any suggestions as to the problem. Will return to Amazon for a refund has a sixty day window,pity really was £100 off plus a free echo show 5
