No green wire grounding on Floodlight Pro Plus

I had an original First generation Floodlight but after 4 years it started flickering when motion was detected. I shut off the lights and lowered the sensitivity which helped. I could still see with night vision and the unit was operational. I called and reviewed and was offered the new plus floodlight with a 35% discount. I went to install today but the new plate has no screw marled grounding wire. I only have the white and black wires. I was sent a link from Ring but it doesn’t address this green wire and what to do with it. I went to Home Depot and told to try to wrap it around the metal bracket which I couldn’t. He said you don’t really need it. I installed it and it works but concerned about this. Is this safe? Concerned about a fire

Hi @user80505. The Floodlight Cam Wired Plus needs to be installed according to the instructions here. The green, white, and black wires from the Floodlight Cam should be connected to those same wires coming from your junction box. Since there is no green wire from your junction box, I’d recommend consulting a qualified electrician to verify how the camera should be safely installed.
