NEW RING STICK-UP CAMS MAKE IT *OBNOXIOUS* TO CHANGE BATTERIES!
wireless-security-cameras

THE NEW ENGINEERING CHANGE THAT HAS PUT *RIDGES* ON THE INSIDE OF THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT SHRINKS THE COMPARTMENT'S SIZE, ADDS FRICTION, AND RUINS WHAT WAS *FORMERLY* AN EASY BATTERY CHANGE. NOW THE BATTERIES DON'T SIMPLY DROP OUT WHEN YOU RELEASE THE METAL CLASP. USERS NOW HAVE TO USE A KNIFE BLADE TO PRY THE BATTERY OUT OF THE TOO-TIGHT COMPARTMENT. THESE NEW INTERIOR RIDGES ARE COUNTERPRODUCTIVE! WE JUST BOUGHT TWO NEW STICK-UPS, AND *BOTH* HAVE THE RESTRICTIVE RIDGES INSIDE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT.

I have this issue as well! Contacted customer service & they replaced one of my new ones because I didn’t know both of the ones I ordered had this problem. The replacement has the same problem. This is Not a quick release battery camera at all!
