Need to report a broken Ring Spotlight cam plus
troubleshooting

Hi there, I've been looking all over the app but there's no way to easier report a specific broken item even though it is on your subscription plan. Anyway, I just noticed that our security camera has not been working for a week now. It is powered by wired so I did the usual of turning off and back on again. There's a solid blue light shortly after but then it seems to freeze; the flood lights do not come on and there's no video fed to the app.  Do I have to factory reset the camera, but then why? It has been working perfectly since I got it except it ignores the motion detection areas. It was only purchased back in Nov2023, very disappointed it has delivered a fault already. How do I request a repair or replacement please?

    Hi @Ultraman1966. There are various reasons why you might be running into issues using Live View. Is your Spotlight Cam showing as offline in the Ring app? What is the RSSI listed as on the Device Health page? This is a measure of the signal strength that the camera is receiving. If the signal is weak, or the Spotlight Cam is offline, you won't be able to activate the Live View. If the Spotlight Cam isn't offline, are you receiving a specific error message when you try to activate the Live View? Feel free to share any screenshots that demonstrate what you're seeing on your end. I'd be happy to offer some troubleshooting steps once I have more details on the situation.
