Is SmartThings Officially Supported by Ring

I am looking for a security camera that works with SmartThings app. I see Ring is mentioned in the SmartThings partners website. The various Ring models are also listed out there. But while going though posts in Ring community i see this mentioned "Ring does not officially support SmartThings" Is this true? Then why is Ring mentioned as partnered brands even in SmartThings website?
