  thanks for the reply. I'm thinking of replacing the original power adaptor with another one with longer cable, so i want to know the power requirement of the camera, to select the appropriate power adaptor.

  Yes, you can use a longer cable. It's a USB micro plug. I attached a picture of my indoor cam and a picture of the information on the power pack for it.
