How Do I Delete Time Schedule

I originally set up a time schedule on my Ring Floodlight (wired) camera, but want to change it instead to a Dusk to Dawn setting. I can't find any way to delete the current schedule from the app. The only option I have is to turn it on or off. I see that I can remove the device from the app, but then I'm faced with climbing twelve feet on a ladder to get to the camera if I have to push the button on top again which is also not a good design. So, does anyone have any suggestions on how to delete the light schedule and redo it?

Good question, @nightsmusic! You are certainly in the right place in the Ring app. Instead of the toggle, when viewing your listed saved motion schedule, swipe left or tap elsewhere on the created schedule to make the delete option appear. It should show up in red on the right hand side. I hope this helps! :)

Nope, nothing. This is all I have. I can either turn off the schedule I'd set up or I can leave it on. I can't edit it, can't delete it, swiping does nothing and if I try to click on anything in the app that remotely has to do with a schedule, this is all that pops up.

Thank you for the quick reply and image example, @nightsmusic! I'm shocked to see there is absolutely no option to delete that schedule. Based on the attached image, you are definitely in the right place. I've attached an image from my personal Ring app to show this option on IOS. As it looks like you are on android, the only difference is that the verbiage says "delete this schedule" rather than "remove", but otherwise you are definitely missing this option in your Ring app. If you have not already, try removing and reinstalling the Ring app, as well as ensure no vpn is enabled. It may be worth also checking for any [android apps that might conflict with the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005889983-Android-Apps-that-Conflict-with-the-Ring-App). While it isn't the best solution, if another mobile device is available, the schedule might be able to be deleted from another device. If this concern persists on your mobile device and the above steps did not help to resolve this, Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). Your screen shot shows for alerts. I want to change the setting for when the lights come on and off at night. I already use Do Not Disturb which is built into Android to not get alerts overnight. When we installed the floodlight, there was an option to set dusk to dawn. I did the 'time' option to see how it would all work keeping the lights on overnight but alerting me to motion, or being able to see a video of the motion. It's working fine, but the light comes on too late. I didn't take DST into consideration (HATE!) and it's dark over an hour before the light turns on. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the info is still there. I should have done a hard cache empty, but didn't think of that. I can try it, but I'm not sure it will help at this point. I also haven't removed the device yet, but I can. There was just an update for the app in the past couple days that came through and I don't know if it had started before this update or not. Also, I don't have any of the apps on the list for interfering with the app. Also, isn't there any way to set a persistent cookie? Every time I look at something else here on on Ring, even if it's only been two minutes, I'm asked to sign in again and my husband's phone is also getting all of these codes. I understand wanting two-factor but it would be nice if it was device specific so I could at least set it on my laptop. Sorry. I'm just very frustrated with all of this. I just want to change the time!

I came back to say I did a hard cache clear and it doesn't matter. I have no idea where that setting is being stored, but I've now cleared the app data, the app cache, deleted the app and cleared the phone cache and the info is still there. If I could even change the time, that would be something, but I can't even do that. Thanks for your help though. I may have to call :/

Hi there, @nightsmusic! Thank you for the clarification on this and trying those steps. After taking a more in-depth look into this feature, it looks like no further steps will need to be done. I personally tested a Floodlight Camera light schedule and it looks like only one can be created. Despite the motion scheduling having a delete or multiple schedule option, the light scheduling does not. The light schedule can, however, be changed at any time, or disabled. For a visual on this, through digging I found our [Floodlight Camera Youtube video](https://youtu.be/eEUtt4m_bBA), which contains a segment about the light scheduling. At Ring we are always working to add to and improve on our features and devices. As we value our neighbors' feedback, we've created a [Feature Request board](https://community.ring.com/t5/Feature-Request-Board/idb-p/Feature_Request_Board). Feel free to add this and any future feature requests there. This will help us to organize and share your requests with our teams here, as well as allow other neighbors to comment and add interest, all in one place. :)

I have the same problem on my Android phone. I created a schedule and now there's no way to remove it.

Hi @sbdick. Can you clarify what type of schedule you created and which model of Ring Camera you have? Is this a Motion Schedule or a Light Schedule? You can find which model of Ring Camera you have by looking at the name on the original packaging or under the Device Health screen in the Ring app.
