Help with clicking noise— camera off

My indoor camera recently (~1 month ago) started making clicking noises. I did some research and realize it’s the night vision kicking in. However, my camera is TURNED OFF and this is the ONLY time I hear it— why is it trying to focus if it’s off? Making me very uncomfortable!!
