Floodlight Cam Wired pro not turning on after resetting following a light problem
Our floodlight cam wired pro's lights kept turning back on after turning off. Basically flashing on and off all night long regardless of any motion. I tried rebooting from the app which did not stop the problem. I factory reset the camera and reconnected it but the light issue was still happening. Days later I again did the factory reset to the camera and it turned off but never came back on. No lights flashed after the reset. The camera is dead. What troubleshooting can I try now? The camera is a year and a half old.

Hi @user_ee7883. The lights on the Floodlight Cam have a separate range of motion detection apart from the camera. This can result in the lights coming on with motion that isn't in the camera's range. Are there any reflective surfaces, or sources of heat in the Floodlight Cam's range? These are usually what cause the lights to come on repetitively, as the passive infrared (PIR) motion detection picks them up. After doing a factory reset, you may need to walk through the setup process again in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. Make sure the Floodlight Cam is receiving sufficient power, and check if there are any issues with the wiring. If the camera is still unresponsive, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers here, or @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram.
