Floodlight cam plus randomly reconnects

Installed a floodlight cam plus above the garage. It connects to a tp- link mesh network. The direct path goes through two walls and roof rafters. Roof is metal. RSSI is 60 (good). Live video comes up nearly instantly. With no activity in the house, the camera reconnects to the network 24 times in the space of 8 hours. No other devices do this. I get reports of this activity in both tp-link and ring apps. Suggestions for diagnosis?

Hi @ruarri. An [RSSI](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Understanding-RSSI-and-Wifi-Signal-Strength) of -60 is approaching the higher end where you could start to see some impacts to performance, but this would usually result in features like the Live View being affected as well. The metal roof could be causing some interference with the wifi signal. You can try creating a guest network on your router and connecting the Floodlight Cam to that network to see if it helps stabilize the connection. If this keeps happening, or you start experiencing any problems with the performance of your Floodlight Cam, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
