Flood light camera wired pro blurry vision in night

My flood light cam wired pro view at night is very blurry and dark. When the motion detection lights are on, the view is clear as it is supposed to be. When the lights go off, the view gets dark and blurry and you could hardly see anything, except lights from neighbors drive through. I thought you that the lens or front may be dirty and did clean the front but with no success. During the daytime and during night when the motion detection lights are on, the view is clear. Irony is that my previous flood light camera wired had issues; and I got this as replacement, as my camera was under warranty, may be ring send me defective item.
