Does Spotlight Cam Pro use the same mount as the older Spotlight Cam Plus?

I am upgrading my older Spotlight Cam Plus battery with Spotlight Cam Pro battery.Before I swap them (and scramble up the tall ladder :) ), can I use the mount used by the older camera with the Pro model? The socket with a tightening screw?I note that the new Pro camera comes with a mount that has a separate (grey) backing plate. The old one was screwed directly to the wood frame of my house.It would be nice if the Plus and Pro Spotlight cams use interchangeable wall mounts. Do they?Thanks. Aloke.

Hi @Aloke. The Spotlight Cam Pro Battery comes with a mounting plate that should be used during the installation. This is similar to the installation steps for the Spotlight Cam Plus Battery, which also has a mounting plate. I recommend following the instructions when installing your new Spotlight Cam Pro, including the use of the mounting plate, to ensure your camera is safely installed.
