Converting Plugin to Wired

Hi Everyone, I am considering purchasing a spotlight-cam-plugin pro, this has the option of a battery to be inserted also. If I ever decided to convert this to a hardwired with an electricians help is this possible? I have family who have an older model of the spotlight cam (plugin- with no battery option) and their electrician did this for them however I am not certain if this is possible since this new version has a battery slot.
