  Hi Neighbors. The cabin facing camera utilizes night vision with infrared lights. The reason this isn't on the front-facing camera is that the infrared lights would reflect off the windshield, completely obscuring any video. The forward facing camera does record great video at night with your cars headlights on. We realize that in low light situations it may be difficult to make out certain scenes, and we are working on future solutions. I hope this helps.

  Let's be honest here.. the video quality of this camera both in day and night is pitiful. It claims to be 1080p.. it's not even close it's more like 540. And even when downloaded the comical length of 20 seconds it is still not 1080p. If it can't read license plates effectively it is essentially useless. I am not the only one making this complaint the complaint seems to be universal with others. Now if that were the cameras only problem I would feel lucky considering that the camera shuts itself off within a few minutes after parking your car sending a message to you there's a problem with your car battery even though you're driving a brand new car with a brand new battery in it. Once again which seems to be a universal problem for others. So let's not blow Sunshine up each other's skirt. This camera was released before it was ready for prime time. And that's why they're scrambling 24/7 to try to find a fix for all these problems.

  Let’s really be honest, no one is forcing you to buy this camera. It’s a $250 camera. Find value in it or go buy a different brand. Your complaining isn’t helping anything. I’m enjoying my camera for what it is :man_shrugging:

  Well bully for you... Actually I only paid $172 for this camera... And it's not even worth keeping at that price!

  Agree that this camera lacks many things that are common on less expensive cameras. Some should bebeasy to fix such as display of speed and coordinates. I was disappointed with inability to download more than 20 seconds. Howver I get around that limitation by playing desired video and capturing with a screen recorder. This provides higher resolution than locally stored video and eliminates the ridiculous process of having to upload 20 second clip to cloud before being able to download to device.
