I am also trying to delete a device, and I’m trying to follow these steps, but the “device settings” button under the selected device isn’t working. I click on it and nothing happens. On my other device the button works so why can’t I access it on this one?

JHi @user23905. Try the following steps to resolve your concern: * Verify that your Ring app and smart phone are caught up with the latest updates available. * Reboot your phone. * If possible, clear cache and data from the Ring app on your phone's settings. * Disable any active VPNs on your phone. * [Reboot your Ring device from the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-How-to-Reboot-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-from-the-Ring-App-). If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) for further assistance. Hi @user11074. If your uncle doesn't see the Camera listed in his Ring app, he may have it set to the wrong location. At the top center of the Ring app, there will be a location name that he should be able to tap to open a drop-down menu of all locations he has in the Ring app. He also must be the owner of the device and not a [Shared User](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005235186-Controlling-Ring-Devices-With-Users-and-Roles), as a Shared User cannot remove a device. He can then remove the Camera in the Ring app following these steps: * Tap the three lines on the top left * Tap **Devices** * Select the device that needs to be released for ownership. * Tap **Device Settings** * Tap **General Settings** * Select **Remove this Device** * The device will immediately be available to a new owner. This should allow him to completely remove the Camera from his account so you can set it up under your Ring account. We have more information on device ownership in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038010351-I-Would-Like-to-Take-Over-Change-Ownership-of-Ring-Devices) as well. If you are still unable to get the Camera set up under your account, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406).
