Can't Change Mode

I turned on the mode feature for the first time today and I think I am missing something. I cannont find in the app (iOS) where I can change what mode my camera is in. I can change the settings of the three modes but I can't change to a different mode. For example, I can't switch from "Away" to "Disarmed" or "Home".Can anyone help?
