Hi. I’m looking to update my old security cameras with Ring ones, but not sure if they will mount like the ones I have (see attached picture). Any advice or help would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Hi @jlmank33. Most Ring Security Cameras are designed to be mounted on a wall rather than a ceiling, as they are not designed to look straight down like in the photo you provided. I'd recommend reviewing the information in our [Security Camera Buyer's Guide](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041531472-The-Security-Camera-Buyer-s-Guide), as this will go over all of the features and power requirements for the different Cameras we have. We also have a [Security Camera Placement Guide](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041664712-The-Security-Camera-Placement-Guide), which can give you more insight as you decide which Camera will be the best fit for you based on where you want to install it.
