Camera sirens with system armed

Question

If my system is armed, either by armed and away or home, and one of my cameras detected a motion, can i activate my siren without it setting off the entire system?

Hi @manganwjr. Yes, the motion detection on your Security Cameras will not trigger the siren on the Ring Alarm, only the Alarm Contact Sensors and Motion Detectors will. Manually activating the siren on your Security Camera does not trigger the siren on the Ring Alarm. You do also have the option to [link your Ring Alarm to your Security Cameras](https://community.ring.com/t/alarm-feature-update-linked-devices-camera-siren/25922) so that the sirens on the Cameras will go off when the Ring Alarm is triggered.
