Brand new security camera registered to another person

Question

Brand new out of a taped box, which was opened by a member of staff in front of me to check contents from Bunnings in Busselton WA . QR code tells me its registered to another person

Same happened to me from perth suburbs store, take it back. Otherwise youll be waiting 3-4 weeks for a reactivation from ring support
