On standard settings, you should see a good three weeks from a battery. If you have upped the sensitivity, or have faced the camera to an area with lots of traffic then you will likely see less than that. If you are using Live View a lot, that will significantly reduce the battery life. Remember also, it takes a good 12 hours to fully charge the battery from the supplied USB cable.
