Base of security mounting screw spinning

Question

The left mounting screw in my Ring camera will not back out. The base it screws into is spinning in the plastic housing. I have had this unit for under a month.

Sorry to hear about this @Stiggs13! Try using a rubber band around the head of the screw to allow you to pull while turning the screw to loosen and remove. If this does not resolve your concern, I recommend contacting our support team, at 800-656-1918, for further troubleshooting.

Had the same issue. I put a clamp on to squeeze the base and the screw came right out. I can now send this back when I get the replacement.
