Ring Floodlight Cam issue. Need help

Hello, I am having trouble setting up a Ring Floodlight Cam. In the Ring app, the error message reads, "Hmm. Something went wrong. We have a problem adding this Ring device to your account. Please start the setup process again." I tried restarting the device by turning the power off for a few seconds, but that didn't work. Note the device is in setup mode because the light from the device turning on afterward blinks white. I am using an iOS device iPhone 13 Pro iOS 18.3.1 and the ring app is up-to-date with updates. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? Or have you encountered this issue before? Thanks!

Hi @iiTzBrent. Is there a specific light pattern the Floodlight Cam displays after the setup fails? This can give us some insight into why the setup is not completing. Do you have a dual-band router with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks? You may need to split the bands, or create a guest network using only the 2.4GHz network, as not all Ring devices are compatible with 5GHz, and 2.4GHz has a farther effective signal range.
