Notifications not working on Android 10

Hello Community.So Ihad a phone that was running Android 9 and everything worked fine.I recently got a new phone which has Android 10 and now I don't get any notifications unless I keep the app open in the background, if I close the app then nothing will ever come through once i reopen the app the notifications then come pilling in like they were waiting for the app to be open.I have gone through all the setting over and over again, cleared caches reinstalled and nothing solves it.Does anyone know if the app is fully compatible with Android 10?
